About Us:
The Edmonton Hospital Workers Child Care Society operates a daycare in the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital with spaces open to the general public. The EHWCCS daycare is an accredited child care centre with highly trained staff and a focus on learning. Physical activity is also a priority and children have daily access to the gymnasium and regular access to swimming and the outdoor playground. We are excited to have begun weekly music classes. Our licensed and accredited child care program is Reggio Emilia- and RIE-inspired, and welcomes children of all abilities. The monthly fee includes morning and afternoon snack; weekly swimming, music, and small-group art instruction programs; a long-term gardening project; and developmentally appropriate indoor and outdoor programming tailored to each child’s interests and needs, provided by skilled educators in a caring environment, with an average adult-to-child ratio of 1 to 5.
